What a seal is
A seal fingerprints every item and photo with SHA-256 and stores the date from this device. Editing or deleting an item clears the seal, so re-seal when you’re done.
It does not prove ownership, value, or when a photo was taken, and it does not guarantee an insurer will accept it.

Claims prep tips
- Photograph corners, ceilings and floors as well as contents — context helps.
- Keep receipts and serial numbers with the item record where you have them.
- Don’t dispose of damaged items until your insurer says you may.
- Follow your policy documents and your insurer’s claim instructions.
- Keep inventory photos separate from post-loss damage photos.
